discarded couches of portland

Just when I thought life couldn't be any more glorious, I saw these two couches on my way home Friday evening. They were on the same block but most likely originated from different buildings. One sat beside a dumpster and the other on the street corner.The latter reminded me of the body of a beached whale. I wonder how long it has been sitting on that corner.
